In a pristine corner in the heart of Tuscany, on the edge of the Casentino Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park, stands the Villa di Catarsena, an elegant villa in Tuscany and the ideal location for stays dedicated to relaxation, good food, wine, art, spirituality, and nature.

Near our villa in Tuscany, there are several wineries offering wine tastings and typical products, enriching your stay with the food and wine delights typical of Casentino and Tuscany.

Villa Catarsena is an integral part of a farm and forestry business spanning over 500 hectares of land. The agriturismo, created through a meticulous restoration of the existing structures, offers hospitality in an ancient Tuscan villa dating back to the late 17th century. This villa was modified during the 19th century and has recently been expertly restored and renovated to accommodate agritourism.

Just 20 meters from the villa, guests can enjoy the swimming pool, measuring a comfortable 6 x 14 meters. The pool is equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

The pool can be heated in cooler seasons so it can also be used in early autumn or mid-spring.

The other buildings adjacent to the villa are uninhabited, ensuring guests’ privacy. Other residential buildings are located approximately 250 meters away.

Add to this the helpfulness and courtesy of the property owners, who granted us early check-in and late check-out, their charming and sweet dog, Merlot, and, last but not least, the beautiful heated pool, which is the icing on the cake.
